Polytechnic Heights Police Station

26,800 SF Police Station

The Polytechnic Heights Police Station is a 26,800 SF facility that consolidates multiple public safety functions into a single location. Replacing an outdated station on the same site, the design integrates the patrol division, public health unit, reserves unit, and traffic division to improve efficiency and accessibility. A transparent glass façade signals openness and civic engagement, while the building’s massing and carefully placed shading elements mitigate heat and glare. The work focused on creating a modern, durable, and community-oriented facility that reflects the evolving needs of Fort Worth.
