A perforated metal canopy provides shade and visual identity, filtering light into the main entry while reinforcing the building’s connection to the industrial landscape. Elevated massing and deep overhangs balance openness with protection, ensuring long-term durability and functionality. The work focused on integrating efficiency and transparency into the design, reflecting the public-facing role of the department.
